I originally intended the game to be a mash-up of match-3 and shmup design elements, but it turned into its own little thing, more clearly related to
Zoop. As you can see, my game was suppose to have higher-level enemies that would take multiple hits to destroy and have a shooter-esque scrolling background, but black orbs and a flat gray backdrop is good enough.

Notes:
"gather/empty: sucks all surface enemies of the same color into inventory",
"gather/full: convert inventory into energy",
"fire/empty: use energy to form beam",
"fire/full: place inventory back in world",
"large enemies take multiple beam hits to kill"
