Wow! Saving my working buffer as an image into the device's common image gallery was super easy -- just one line! Yay for "Content Providers" in the Android framework. Too bad it became a jpeg somewhere along the way. Oh, and I've added the colors back after I learned to use FloatMath and PorterDuffXfermode.
