face

This is the first face I've ever painted. I used Paint.NET with three layers: a textured canvas layer, the soft black/white layer I was painting, and a faint gradient with "glow" blend mode as a reference for lighting. The slight tinting was added at the end just before saving. I would have been nice to have soften/smudge tool, or at least feathering for selections.
