Density (made possible by ADW.Launcher)

If you take away those silly icon labels you can put enough icons on the screen that you can launch every app you need from muscle memory alone. When it all fits on one one home screen you don't need to look to know which screen you are on, you never scroll away, icons never move, and tapping a certain area of the screen always does the same thing. Swipe down anywhere on the screen activates the notification menu, and swiping up anywhere on the screen activates the alphabetical app picker for accessing infrequently used items.
